It’s perhaps not surprising to see Younes Kaboul linked with a move away from White Hart Lane after an injury hit couple of years but it is a shock to see the rumour mills latching on to Vlad Chiriches so early in his Tottenham career.

The Romanian has shown promise at times and has also turned in some impressive performances, most notably against Manchester United on New Year’s Day when he was an obvious Man of the Match. The alleged destination is Germany where Borussia Dortmund seem resigned to losing Mats Hummels and while this looks unlikely, with potential changes to the manager’s position, you never know.

Meanwhile, Younes has been linked with a switch to Besiktas who were said to be targeting Nemanja Vidic before his decision to move to Inter. Our French International has looked solid for the most part since returning to the side but could a spate of injuries lead to Spurs losing patience and taking the first decent offer that comes along?

  1. Kaboul is a great defender even if he doesnt play evrry week…will prolong his fitness anyway. Ciriches is a good player and next season he will prove it along with lamela, soldado. Lets just kerp our goid pksyers and add to our team.. coys

  2. Kaboul is a good defender, when he plays which is not often, bye.Chiriches also good I’m sure we’ll keep.Who comes up with these transfer rumours.I can only imagine someone sits somewhere with a box of names ,players ,clubs ,pulls them out randomly and then puts that combination out as gospel

  3. A month or two ago I would have said take what you can get for Kaboul, with his injury record. However, he’s had an impressive run in the side since then and him and Vertonghen look a good partnership.

As for Chiriches, he’s one for the future. Why would we sell him now?
