Spurs will go into Saturday’s match with Fulham as hot favourites – a position they were in just over 12 months ago when Dimitar Berbatov’s goal was enough to separate the two sides. Football is constantly a game of ‘what ifs’ but that result was the one that we all looked back on when finally losing out in the race for the top four.

Champions League football has essentially evaded us for another season but three points are still on the table and it won’t be easy against Felix Magath’s team who have fought back to retain a faint chance of staying in the Premier League.

The Cottagers have now won two games in succession in an overall run of three victories in five and one of the men to watch is Hugo Rodallega who has scored the winner against both Aston Villa and Norwich City.

Lewis Holtby is ineligible to play against his parent club but it’s a dangerous midfield with Kieran Richardson and Steve Sidwell also capable of finding the net. There’s no Berbatov this year but Rodallega and Ashkan Dejagah are the type of attacking players who somehow seem to find their form against our own club.

Spurs are odds on to take the three points but we’ve all been watching Tottenham long enough to be slightly less confident than the bookmakers. What’s your score prediction?
