In the absence of any real news we’re left to trawl through the rumours and the link with 26 year old Alberto Bueno is an interesting one. The former Spanish Under 21 International is currently with Rayo Vallecano but English fans might just remember him from a loan spell at Derby County.

Bueno can either play in the hole, as a second striker but he has been deployed on the left wing which might give Spurs a better option. His overall scoring record isn’t great – with Rayo he has found the net 11 times in 37 appearances while he notched 5 in 29 in his Derby days.

The main plus for Tottenham is that the player is currently out of contract and although we’re not getting too excited, if he doesn’t cost anything then Alberto Bueno could be one of the better free agents doing the rounds this summer.

  1. What would be the point? We have enough squad players of his quality already, Sigurdsson, Chadli, Townsend, Kane, we don’t need to buy players like this guy.

We need to buy players for the first XI.

  2. Delusion is evident in your name. And you’re not that good at spelling, are you? Change the ‘r’ to ‘d’ and then repost.

  3. @Mertscieny,

As ‘NorthLondonIsWhite’ asked, why would anyone who’s NOT a Spurs supporter/fan/follower, bother posting on a Spurs blog? Furthermore, re-posting only to throw a little schoolboy abuse about?? You’re one strange, mixed up sociopath!
Now assuming you live in London or the ‘home counties’ I wonder if the anagram of your ‘name’ is an insight into your psyche?
    MY S.E. CRETIN??
