After playing as a near ever present for nearly three seasons, Tottenham’s Kyle Walker has been a notable absentee with a long term pelvic injury that kept him out of this summer’s World Cup. The right back has been out of action since March and while there are no direct quotes on the subject, it’s felt that the player may be available for selection again in November.
That timeline will not help Mauricio Pochettino as he looks to replace Kyle Naughton, who has picked up an ankle ligament injury. It’s not thought to be serious and for now at least, Spurs have Eric Dier who can switch to the right side of defence, as he did when Naughton was suspended at the start of the campaign.
So Spurs are covered for the time being but will you be relieved to see Kyle Walker return to action?
