Team confirmation is in ahead of today’s 4pm kick off with Hull City and the big news is that head coach Mauricio Pochettino has opted to play two strikers from the first whistle. Harry Kane and Roberto Soldado are the men leading the line but there’s no back up from the bench as Emmanuel Adebayor misses out.

Our starting XI reads

Lloris, Dier, Fazio, Vertonghen, Davies, Dembele, Mason, Eriksen, Lamela, Kane, Soldado

And our subs

Vorm, Ball, Chiriches, Ceballos, Lennon, Paulinho, Stambouli

Younes Kaboul, Andros Townsend and Danny Rose are also absent so it’s a first league start for Ben Davies.

What do you think of the coach’s selection?

  1. Could be a switch to 442, or he maybe he’s playing Kane in the middle of the three behind Soldado. Either way, good to see them both start!
