Galatasaray have been linked with a move for Younes Kaboul in recent months but they may have now targeted a new Spurs defender.
The Romanian journalist Emanuel Rosu has claimed that the Turkish giants have made a bid for Vlad Chiriches.
Galatasaray made an offer to sign Vlad Chiriches from Tottenham. Not accepted yet. Spurs want more than the initial offer.

Galatasaray are also thought to have had made a bid for Kaboul which was short of Tottenham’s valuation. If they considered that the fee demanded by Spurs was too high – which is likely since Kaboul is also on a hefty salary – there’s no reason to think that they might not have switched targets.
Chiriches is still only 25, four years younger than the 29-year old Kaboul and doesn’t have such a long history of injuries.
What’s clear is that following the signings of Toby Alderweireld and Kevin Wimmer, the club will be very keen to get rid of both Chriches and Kaboul this summer. Galatasaray will be looking to take advantage of this desire but as we all know, Daniel Levy is rarely the loser in a negotiation battle.
