Spurs fans are still waiting for major action in the transfer window and with Daniel Levy at the helm, no one should be surprised if players have to be sold before new ones can come in.

Our friends from SpurredOn have spoken to Greg Stobart from Goal who gave his analysis on which players he expects to leave White Hart Lane during January.

On the agenda were the futures of Andros Townsend, Federico Fazio and Milos Veljkovic. Watch below.

  1. The thing with trusting Pochettino is that folk have to remember what he said: last season was for sorting through the squad and deciding who he wanted to keep and what he needed; the second season would be for beginning to get in who he wants and getting the squad playing the way he wants; and the third season he was aiming to have a new that will be able to compete at the top.

So, great as it is to look like breaking into the top four and being on the edge of a title challenge, we are ahead of schedule, really.

Shame about Veljkovic – I’ve always thought he had really good composure. But got to trust the boss and I believe Levy does.
