A disappointed Mauricio Pochettino claimed that he could see the positives in his post-match press conference, following the 2-1 League Cup defeat to Liverpool.
Pochettino was impressed by the effort by his young team and in particular was very happy with the performance of the 18-year old centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers.
The Argentine did however concede that both goals were avoidable and poor from a defensive point of view.
Also on the agenda was a row with Jurgen Klopp, as things got heated between the emotional managers.
