Mauricio Pochettino is still without the injured Toby Alderweireld and Harry Kane, as Spurs prepare to take on Bayer Leverkusen.
Erik Lamela is also a major doubt after picking up a hip injury in midweek and with Moussa Sissoko still serving a ban for domestic games, the French international should start on the right.
Pochettino is also likely to rotate the full-backs before the North London derby, though Eric Dier and Jan Vertonghen should start again in central defence.
The midfield area could also see a shake up. Christian Eriksen was very poor against Leicester and being dropped might be just what’s needed for the laid-back Dane to find the form of last season.
Here’s our Tottenham team to face Bayer Leverkusen. What’s yours?
It is clear from this how we are lacking a backup to Eriksen.
Sissoko is not a flair player and way below the standard required for Spurs.
Put Wimmer in the back 4…..Rest Wanyama, move Dier in there.
I like the look of this team with the exception of Dier for Wanyarma who is needed for Arsenal and Wimmer at the back
Having just seen the team for this evening I suspect disaster is looming, I hope not….
