Tottenham fans didn’t have a lot to shout about following their 2-1 defeat to Monaco, a result that saw them exit the Champions League with a whimper.

What they can brag about, however, is the fact they have one of the world’s very best goalkeepers.

Hugo Lloris was sensational against Monaco, brilliantly saving a Radamel Falcao penalty in the first half and going onto to make a string of superb stops in the second period.

His best moment of the game was a truly breathtaking close-range reaction save. You can watch it below.

  1. All roads lead to the Europa League… ain’t that the truth…
I repeat, if any sane supporter thinks that Sonny is a ‘go to player’ please check into the nearest sanatorium for assessment ASAP!
A section of Hotspur Way has been reserved for Alli so that he can graze rather than train!!!
How many ‘on target’ shots do you think we managed last night?
How many shots of any kind do you think we managed last night?
    What a clusterf***!
Now the crux of the issue;I don’t believe that the Argie crew has any idea of how to convert possession into meaningful chances in front of goal!
p.s. we don’t deserve Hugo Lloris…and that goes out to all the serial whingers & so called supporters on the the two previous Spurs blogs that I had the unfortunate experience to inhabit who constantly denigrated his skills. Maybe they had the unfortunate experience to suffer me! Anyways, it’s a moot (perhaps in this case ‘mute’ is better) point.
