The dust has settled on Tottenham’s 1-0 defeat to Manchester United and it’s time to give your player ratings.
Spurs lost only their second Premier League match of the season on Sunday, on a day when the side looked short of inspiration.
It was a mistake from Harry Kane that saw United breaking away and taking the lead through Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who looked the best player on the pitch.
Kane had a performance to forget, but he wasn’t given much to work with on an afternoon in which Tottenham struggled to create chances. One of the few opportunities that Spurs should have scored from came to Victor Wanyama, who missed a great chance to head an equaliser in the second-half.
One of the few players who did do his reputation some good was the substitute Moussa Sissoko, who tormented his opposing full-back Matteo Darmian, beating his nearly every time he got the ball down the right.
