Spurs will be looking to get back to winning ways tonight when they face Hull.

We’d expect the same back four that took on Manchester United, to start at White Hart Lane, though there is the possibility that Mauricio Pochettino could rotate the full-back, just as he did at this stage of last season.

In midfield there will definitely be changes, with Mousa Dembele confirmed as being injured. We’d replace him with Harry Winks and give Victor Wanyama a rest, in order so that Eric Dier can start to rebuild some form in the position that he excelled in last season.

There is an argument to bring in Moussa Sissoko out wide after his impressive cameo at Old Trafford, but though he will surely get a start at some point over the festive period, we’d start with Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Heung-Min Son behind Harry Kane.

Here’s our Tottenham team to face Hull. What’s yours?

  1. I agree with most but would tuck Eriksen behind/along side Kane and put Sissoko/GKN wide left. Leave Dele out, has flattered to deceive lately

  2. Just seen the lineup…so where’s our springboard out of defense???
Alli can do no wrong apparently…
I expect more of the same…slow build up…little penetration into the opposition box.
I could go on but, suffice it to say, this is not a starting 11 that inspires me with confidence.
