It’s not hard to see why Tottenham’s English contingent is the envy of the Premier League’s other top clubs.

Eric Dier, Kyle Walker, Danny Rose, Dele Alli and Harry Kane have all been exceptional under the management of Mauricio Pochettino, while Harry Winks looks set to be the next English player to thrive at Spurs.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has spoken in the past of his admiration for Tottenham’s English stars. And now it seems he is interested in taking three of them to the Etihad.

According to James Robson of the Manchester Evening News, Guardiola wants to sign Walker, Rose and Alli this summer. The journalist suggests Walker is the most ‘getable’ of the three.

While Walker might be the cheapest option, Rose might be slightly more persuadable given his roots in the north. Both players are from Yorkshire, but Rose has previously said his year in Sunderland was his best year in football.

Regardless of which player’s head could be turned, it’s unlikely Spurs will let any of them go this summer, particularly to another English club.

It would almost certainly take a world record fee to tempt Daniel Levy into selling Alli, while Rose and Walker are just about irreplaceable given their form of late.
