Tottenham are interested in signing Norwich City midfielder James Maddison, according to the Evening Standard.
Last week reports claimed Spurs and Liverpool are both keen on Maddison, who has scored six goals and provided five assists in the Championship this season.
Now, the Evening Standard is suggesting Manchester City are also keen on the 21-year-old.
Norwich apparently don’t want to sell Maddison this month, mainly because they have already allowed another attacking midfielder – former Tottenham youngster Alex Pritchard – to leave Carrow Road for Huddersfield.
Spurs sent Marcus Edwards on loan to Norwich earlier this week, so lines of communication could easily be re-opened between the clubs.
The Canaries will demand “at least £20 million” for Maddison, a former Coventry City youngster. It will be interesting to see how this story develops.
Yeah Ok …. Let him try that in the EPL with Cech and DeGea
