Tottenham have made a bid of around £33 million for Napoli midfielder Amadou Diawara, according to reports in Italy.
The 20-year-old has impressed in Serie A this season, and Italian outlet CalcioNapoli24 believes Spurs have made their move.
However, the report suggests Napoli value Diawara at a much higher price.
Tottenham are apparently on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Mousa Dembele – Diawara is the latest reported target in that regard.
Spurs are also said to hold an interest in signing Brazilian wingers Malcom and Lucas Moura this month, but neither deal is expected to happen until the summer.
