Fenerbahce are interested in loaning Vincent Janssen against next season, and the striker is keen to spend another campaign away from Tottenham, according to reports in Turkey.

Janssen joined Fenerbahce on loan last summer after enduring a difficult first season in England.

The Dutchman, who signed for Spurs from AZ Alkmaaar for a fee in the region £18 million, scored just six goals for Mauricio Pochettino’s side before being shipped off to Turkey.

It is unlikely Janssen will be given another chance at Tottenham, and Turkish outlet Fanatik believes Fenerbahce will take advantage of that by attempting to loan him again for next season.

The report claims the 23-year-old, knowing his Spurs days are numbered, is also keen for a deal to happen.

Janssen has scored three goals in 14 appearances for Fenerbahce in an injury-laden campaign. However, his overall performances appear to have been impressive enough for the Turkish side to move for him again.

I expect he will spend one more season away from Tottenham on loan before the club looks to sell him permanently.
