Valencia are interested in signing Tottenham striker Fernando Llorente in January, according to reports in Spain.
Llorente is out of contract at the end of the season and so Spurs will lose him for nothing in the summer unless they sell this month.
The Spaniard has scored just six times for Tottenham since arriving from Swansea City in the summer of 2017 – three of those goals came in an FA Cup tie against League One side Rochdale last season.
He has been linked with a return to his former club Athletic Bilbao in recent weeks, but it appears there is interest elsewhere in La Liga.
Spanish outlet El Desmarque (as spotted by The Spurs Web) claims Valencia are keen to sign a striker this month and Llorente is among their targets.
The 33-year-old has scored just once this season, finding the net against West Ham United in the EFL Cup.
Vincent Janssen hasn’t played a single minute this term, joining Llorente on the list of strikers who have failed to provide adequate cover and competition for Harry Kane.
