Tottenham Hotspur travel to Bournemouth for a crucial Premier League meeting on Saturday.

With the Champions League semi-final second leg against Ajax just days away, Mauricio Pochettino has a couple of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

However, injuries mean the Spurs manager’s options are limited for this weekend’s game on the south coast.

Jan Vertonghen is a major doubt after being advised to rest following his head injury against Ajax.

As a result, Pochettino will probably switch to a back four. Danny Rose and Kieran Trippier are likely to play against Ajax, so Ben Davies and Juan Foyth should start at Bournemouth.

In midfield, Eric Dier may be chosen to protect the back four as he continues to be rotated with Victor Wanyama. Dier’s presence will allow Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli to push forward.

Moussa Sissoko played for longer than expected against Ajax after recovering from injury, so he’ll likely be saved for the second leg.

Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura should start up front either side of Fernando Llorente.

  1. Surely not Llorente or Toby, both required for Wednesday, give Janssen a chance and the young right back, forgotten his name, put Foyth next to Sanchez and leave Alli out, replace with Skipp..should be fine and safer for Wednesday

  2. No Llorente or Ali please. Both so slow on Tuesday. Janssen with his pace and desire and Walker Peters in allowing Foyth ( yes Foyth ) to patrol midfield with Dier. The boy has oodles of ability and can beat players
