Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon wants to join Tottenham Hotspur after telling Fulham he will not sign a new contract, according to the Guardian.

Sessegnon has just one year left on his Fulham contract and has been linked with Spurs, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

The 19-year-old endured a mixed debut season in the Premier League with Fulham, suffering relegation but managing to score two goals and provide six assists in 35 appearances.

It has been suggested Sessegnon could stay at Fulham beyond the summer transfer window with a view to moving for free at the end of the 2019/20 season.

But the Guardian is now claiming that the teenager has told his current employers he will not sign a new contract and wants to join Tottenham ahead of the new campaign – Manchester United and PSG remain keen, too.

Fulham are said to value Sessegnon at around £45 million but Spurs apparently don’t want to spend any more than £25 million.

Tottenham have also been linked with Everton left-back Lucas Digne this week, but it’s unlikely they will go for both players unless Danny Rose leaves the club.
