Tottenham may be able to sign AC Milan playmaker Suso for just £22.5 million this summer, according to reports in Italy.

Last week, we relayed a story suggesting Spurs, Arsenal, West Ham and Atletico Madrid are all interested in triggering Suso’s £35 million release clause.

The former Liverpool midfielder has been linked with Tottenham a number of times in the past, and now it seems the Londoners may be able to get him on the cheap.

Italian outlet Calcio Mercato claims Suso has asked Milan for a new contract but the Serie A giants are unwilling to meet his salary demands.

With that in mind, Milan are said to be willing to listen to offers of around £22.5 million for the Spaniard, whose current deal expires in the summer of 2022.

Suso scored seven goals and provided nine assists in 35 Serie A appearances last season as Milan narrowly missed out on a place in the top four.

Spurs will be able to offer the 25-year-old Champions League football, but they may only be able to guarantee him a starting spot if Christian Eriksen is sold.

  1. If there is one player i am sick of hearing and will not be coming it`s Suso! What a waste of rumour driven dribble. There is a reason Liverpooh let him go even when they were behind us in the league! Just forget it.
