Midway through Denmark’s victory over Gibraltar yesterday, we shared a video of Christian Eriksen doing his thing for his country, providing a typical assist and scoring penalty.
Denmark went on to win 6-0 and Eriksen was at the centre of the action, converting another spot-kick and assisting a further goal in the form of a shot that was saved before the rebound was put in.
The 27-year-old was heavily linked with a transfer before the window closed but ended up staying at Tottenham. He found the net against Arsenal on Sunday and brought that goalscoring form into the international break.
