Harvey White has signed a new long-term deal at Tottenham, the club have confirmed.

The 18-year-old, who is yet to play competitively for Spurs, has agreed fresh terms that will keep him at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium until the summer of 2023.

White was handed his senior debut by Mauricio Pochettino during the pre-season tour of Asia back in July, featuring as a substitute against both Juventus and Manchester United in the International Champions Cup.

However, despite Tottenham’s recent issues at left-back, White is yet to be given an opportunity by Head Coach Jose Mourinho with the first-team squad – with the youngster having to make do with minutes for Spurs’ Under-23s side in the Premier League 2, EFL Trophy and UEFA Youth League.

White was particularly impressive in Tottenham’s 9-2 demolition over Red Star Belgrade in October, in which he scored a stunning free-kick as you can see in the short video below.

  1. By all accounts a very good prospect; shame that Mourinho will probably not think he is ready for 1st team football until 2023 by which time he will long been gone.

  2. Mourniho has Spurs playing like a championship side unable to pass the ball between them
    We are struggling for defenders
So in Mourniho world it makes sense to send Danny Rose to Newcastle
He’s not thinking about Spurs it’s all about his ego we can’t afford it
