Tottenham could ask for Anthony Martial to be included in any deal that sees Harry Kane move to Manchester United this summer, according to the Daily Express.

Kane has been linked with a move away from Spurs in recent weeks, though we recently relayed a story from the Manchester Evening News suggesting United are likely to be thwarted in their efforts to sign Kane by Tottenham’s valuation, which is said to be upwards of £100 million.

The Express claims United have privately learned Spurs actually want £200 million for Kane, and the Red Devils subsequently aren’t keen to act on their interest right now. However, it is believed their stance may change if Kane is ‘on the market’.

One way Tottenham could be tempted to sell is if they receive a player in part-exchange, and the Express thinks the Londoners could request Martial.

The Frenchman isn’t anywhere near as prolific as Kane but his arrival would partly soften the blow of losing the England captain. Still, most Spurs fans would likely prefer to keep Kane, even if United offer big money plus Martial.
