Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he told his Tottenham team to remain calm and still believe at half-time during their sensational Champions League semi-final win over Ajax.
Spurs found themselves 2-0 down on the night and 3-0 down aggregate at the break, but after some wise words from Pochettino – plus some strong words from Hugo Lloris and Harry Kane – Tottenham turned the tie around thanks to a second-half Lucas Moura hat-trick and progressed to their first ever Champions League final.
