Tottenham’s players returned to training at Hotspur Way for the first time since the Coronavirus pandemic last Tuesday.

Moussa Sissoko, Heung Min Son, Steven Bergwijn and Harry Kane, who have all recovered from their respective injuries, were all present at the club’s Enfield training base as Jose Mourinho’s side prepare for the proposed restart of the Premier League next month.

Among the returning party was defender Juan Foyth, who has been the subject of speculation from a number of European sides in recent weeks, including La Liga giants Barcelona, who were reportedly keen on signing the Argentine centre-back.

Foyth, who still has two years left on his current deal, has made just seven appearances this season – with just three of those coming since Jose Mourinho arrived.

After an encouraging performance against Bayern Munich in the Champions League before Christmas, Foyth looked set to be in Mourinho’s plans moving forward. However, a catastrophic error in the 22-year-old’s next outing against Norwich City saw him hooked at half-time – and he hasn’t appeared since.

But the uncertainty over his future clearly hasn’t dampened Foyth’s spirits in training this week, judging by his message on Instagram that you can see below.
