Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Moussa Sissoko, Heung Min Son and top scorer Harry Kane will all start for Tottenham when they make their return to Premier League action against Manchester United on Friday night.

Sissoko and Kane haven’t played since suffering ankle and hamstring injuries against Southampton on New Year’s Day – which forced them both to undergo surgery.

As for Son, who returned home to South Korea during lockdown to complete his mandatory three-week military service, he hasn’t featured since fracturing his arm during Spurs’ 3-2 victory at Aston Villa back in February when the forward notched a stoppage-time winner in what was Tottenham’s last Premier League success.

Mourinho revealed the news on Zoom during his new pre-match press conference. It’ll be the first time that the trio will have started for Spurs since Son was sent off in the defeat by Chelsea back in December.

The Portuguese also said that Giovani Lo Celso is doubtful to face the Red Devils, but remained hopeful that the Argentine will be able to play some part in north London as Tottenham look to move just one point behind his former side in the race for European football.
