There weren’t many positives to take from Thursday night’s goalless draw at Bournemouth, but Tanguy Ndombele’s cameo from the bench was at least promising.

The Frenchman’s final ball wasn’t quite there, but that’s likely the result of barely playing as Jose Mourinho’s questionable team selection decisions continue.

What Ndombele did offer was a bit of flair and drive in midfield, exemplified by a fine moment of skill – he managed to get away from his marker with a triple feint.

It’s a shame his pass was inaccurate, but surely this is a sign the 23-year-old deserves more game time to show his worth. Watch below.

  1. Thought N’Dombele when he came on was our best outfield player.
    Another reason for the clown not to start him on Sunday.
