Fulham are interested in re-signing Tottenham’s Ryan Sessegnon on loan after their promotion to the Premier League, according to the Telegraph.

Scott Parker’s men beat London rivals Brentford in Tuesday’s Championship play-off final to secure an instant return to the topflight, and want to give the 20-year-old a lifeline after his lack of game time since making the £25m move from the Cottagers last August.

Injuries and a lack of chances under Jose Mourinho restricted Sessegnon to just 12 appearances last season – with only six of those coming in the Premier League – and didn’t play a minute after the resumption.

Tottenham want to keep the England U21 international, but are willing to loan him out to ensure he gets regular minutes, and Fulham looks like the perfect destination.

However, there’re a number of other English and foreign clubs keen on signing Sessegnon, including Barcelona, a story we relayed from Sky Sports earlier this summer.

A switch to the Nou Camp looks a tall order – with a loan deal across London to his former side looking likelier.

Do you think Tottenham loaning Sessegnon would be a good move? Let us know below.
