Gareth Bale has grabbed himself an assist in Wales’ Nations League game against the Republic of Ireland.
The Tottenham winger missed Thursday’s goalless draw against the USA, but was straight back into the starting XI for the game at the Cardiff City Stadium.
And in the 66th-minute, Bale came up with a decisive moment, heading back across goal for David Brooks to nod home the opener for Wales – the 13th goal he’s been involved in, in his previous 13 home games for his country (OptaJoe).
