Tottenham return to action following their eight-day break when they travel to Championship side Wycombe Wanderers in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Monday night.

Jose Mourinho’s side defeated Sheffield United in the Premier League last Sunday and start a potential season-defining period at Adams Park.

However, Spurs have a number of injury concerns after Mourinho revealed that right-back’s Serge Aurier and Matt Doherty after both doubtful, whilst a tendon problem saw Dele Alli miss out at Bramall Lane last weekend.

We think those injuries will hand a rare opportunity for Japhet Tanganga to impress at right-back.

Meanwhile, Ben Davies might be the only survivor from the Blades game, with the likes of Eric Dier and Joe Rodon rested ahead of Liverpool on Thursday – meaning Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld will coming back into the side.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg should be given a well-deserved rest, which will see Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko start in central midfield.

Lucas Moura and Carlos Vinicius, who scored at Marine in the previous round, will be joined in attack by Gareth Bale and Erik Lamela, whose could make his first start since 1 November.

Predicted XI: Hart, Tanganga, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies, Winks, Sissoko, Bale, Lamela, Lucas, Vinicius.
