Tottenham are keen on signing Celtic midfielder Ismaila Soro, according to the Daily Mail.

Soro arrived from Israeli side Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv in January 2020, but hasn’t managed to nail down a regular starting place at Parkhead.

He enjoyed a good run in the side during the Christmas period, but has been restricted to mainly substitute appearances since Neil Lennon’s sacking in February.

Soro has made 21 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops this season, scoring once and assisting once, both of which came in the win over Dundee United back in December.

And the Mail believe that Spurs are tracking the Ivory Coast midfielder, who’s contract at Celtic expires in the summer of 2024.

Spurs are set to welcome back the highly-rated Oliver Skipp into their first-team squad, next summer, but Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko have both been linked with summer moves away, which could pave the way for the 22-year-old to make the switch to north London.
