Tottenham are interested in signing Barcelona star Ilaix Moriba but a potential move is ‘at a delicate stage’, according to Football London.

Moriba, 18, broke into the Barcelona first-team last season, making 18 appearances across all competitions – but it looks like he could already be on his way out of the club.

With just one year remaining on his current contract, Football London claims Moriba could depart Barcelona this summer and Spurs are said to be among the clubs interested.

The Londoners apparently see the opportunity as too good to pass up, and Moriba would be an immediate member of the senior squad rather than a future prospect.

However, the reason a deal is ‘at a delicate stage’ is because Moriba is being tracked by a host of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Chelsea, per Football London’s story.

It is believed the teenager would cost no more than £20 million, so he is certainly affordable to Tottenham – but how can they tempt him to choose them?

Perhaps guaranteed starts would be a clever bargaining tool, but there is a lot of competition in the Spurs midfield as it is.
