PSG are interested in signing Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele on loan, according to The Athletic.

Ndombele hasn’t been involved since he was booed off against Morecambe earlier this month, having been axed from the squad for the recent games with Chelsea and Leicester.

But even prior to his afternoon to forget against the League One side, Ndombele was out of favour under Antonio Conte, starting just once in the Premier League in the Italian’s time at manager.

Ndombele has been heavily linked away from Tottenham in the past, but his £200,000 per-week have always proved a barrier to him leaving. However, the Athletic believe that PSG, managed by Mauricio Pochettino, want to take the 25-year-old on loan for the remainder of the season.

Pochettino was the man that brought Ndombele to English football from Lyon for Spurs’ club-record fee in 2019 and is now ready to reunite with the midfielder in what would be a major lifeline in his career.
