Tottenham have made their first signings of the season, with a double swoop for Kyle Naughton and Kyle Walker, the near identically named and identical looking right backs from Sheffield United.
There’s no news on whether Walker will return to Sheffield United on loan next season, as has been suggested. Neither club confirms the financial details of the deal on their website, though £11m was widely reported.
Commiserations go to Everton, as Naughton followed in the footsteps of Tarby, The Beatles and Cilla Black, by choosing to live in London over Liverpool.
