David Ginola is one of my favourite ever players at Tottenham, having brightened up with his skill, what was a dark and gloomy period in our history.
Our hero now faces going to prison over not paying child maintenance. In 2006 a French court ordered Ginola to pay 450 euros a month, after he fathered a child during an affair in the early 90s. You’d have thought that he could have afforded it after all those L’Oreal adverts.
One shudders to think what those French criminals would do to a pretty boy like David, though I’d imagine it would involve them smoking a cigarette and shrugging. Let’s get such nasty thoughts out of our minds and think of happier times. Here’s some video footage of the Gallic genius in action.
