It’s time for Spurs to prove that they have that ‘bouncebackability’ that Iain Dowie once went on about and get back to winning ways. That way, we might even have a chance of winning a bet on them.

The punters at Betfair have Spurs at 3/10, with the draw 9/2 and Leeds at 17/2. These aren’t the most generous odds, so if you fancy backing a Spurs win, you’ll need to look at other markets.

We can be backed at 9/10 to be winning at half time/full time, which we have managed in 8 of the 9 games which we have won at home this season. Having said that, I did also quote this statistic before the Hull game.

A 2-0 home victory is the favourite in the correct score market at 6/1, with 1-0 at 7/1 and 3-0 at 9/1. Leeds can be backed at 25/1 to pull off a repeat of their 1-0 away win at Manchester United.

Tottenham can be backed at Evens to keep a clean sheet. The possibility of Spurs going a third game with scoring, can be backed at 17/2 for a Leeds clean sheet.

The punters are obviously pretty convinced that Tottenham will get back to goalscoring form, as over 2.5 goals is the odds on favourite at 3/5, with unders at 13/10.

So who will get the goals for Spurs? Defoe is the 18/5 favourite to score first, with Crouch and Keane at 9/2. Kranjcar is decent value at 10/1, while for Leeds, Beckford is their 9/1 favourite.

Recommended Bet: Tottenham to keep a clean sheet at Evens.
