As widely predicted Johnathan Woodgate has been included in the squad for the trip to Blackburn. With so many injuries and suspensions it seemed inevitable that the player would be called up and according to the manager he may even start.

Meanwhile, Ledley King is to undergo surgery on his groin on Wednesday, however he has also joined Woodgate in the latest 25 man Spurs squad. King joins Michael Dawson, Younes Kaboul, Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and Tom Huddlestone on the list of definite absentees from tonight’s match.
Blackburn for their part will definitely be without Roque Santa Cruz and there are doubts over Ryan Nelsen and Gael Givet.
