Spurs have announced that Ben Alnwick has joined championship side Doncaster Rovers on loan until April the 9th. This is an emergency loan after injury to former Spur Neil Sullivan, so you would hope that Ben will get a run of much needed match practice under his belt. However, he was only on the bench for Rovers 5-2 trouncing by Leeds at the weekend.

After signing from Sunderland in 2007, Alnwick has barely featured for Spurs and this will be his sixth loan club since signing for Tottenham.

Still only 24, he’s a promising keeper ,but looks to be some way down the pecking order at Spurs, so you feel that it’s probably time for him to finally move on.

Elsewhere, Andros Townsend is on the move again! Townsend has joined Millwall on loan until the end of the season and he will hope to push their slim hopes of a play off place. This is his fourth club this season if you include Tottenham, and we hope Andros is given more of a chance with the Lions than he was with Watford recently.
