Yesterday it was revealed that a new date had been set for our crucial game at Manchester City – a match that could well decide who finishes fourth and claims the final Champions League spot.
Luka Modric firmly believes that Spurs are the stronger side as the battle prepares to go to the wire. Speaking on Sky Sports Luka said: “It is going to be tougher than last year but I think we have a lot of quality in the team and can do it again.
“It is going to be hard but I think we are better than them and we still have one game against them.”
Luka is currently on International duty with Croatia and he will have a pivotal role to play in Spurs’ run in. For many he is our player of the year, ahead of Bale and VDV and we just hope he’s right and that Tottenham can repeat their success of last season.
