Spurs are linked with two Real Madrid players once again today – one of whom is already at the club while another starred on loan in Spain last season and by all accounts is desperate to return there.

While Lassana Diarra may have publicly stated his desire to stay at Real Madrid, he seems surplus to requirements as far as Jose Mourinho is concerned, but if all the Spurs midfield men are staying at the club this summer, there seems little need to pursue this one.

In the meantime, it seems that there will be some definite news of Emmanuel Adebayor who has failed to show up thus far at Manchester City and his club are now desperate to ship him out. The striker had this to say about his future,

“If Mourinho called me right now, I would catch the first plane out to Los Angeles[Real’s training camp] and if I could play three or four years in Madrid and I would retire with the club.”

Mourinho however doesn’t seem that keen to make the first move and that could open the door for Spurs. However, if that’s how he really feels, his already suspect attitude may be a further problem if Adebayor were to ever show up at the Lane.

  1. Any player would want to play for Real as there one of the greats of all time, but if Jose doesnt wand a head ache with Manu then we should offer a part exchange of crouch with cash, he’s used to scoring for city after all! 🙂

  2. I for one, if I were him, there is no way on this earth I would play for spurs, after what our fans sung about his family. If he does, then sorry he is not all there upstairs, as much as I think he is a quality striker.

  3. Why are we taking this long to get players in? We know what we need to do , but a usual interest in evrybody and get nobody. Now Sandro is injured lets see what we do.
