The club have announced the signing of Souleymane Coulibal, who was the top scorer in the Under-17 World Cup with nine goals in four games.

The 16 year old Ivorian joins us from the Italian side Sienna and though it might be too much to expect him to see much first team action at such a tender age, he certainly looks like a great signing for the future.

  1. Have to wait for when he up against Terry or Vidic and see if he can pass a ball rather than go for goal all the time!!!! But pretty good agains this oppostion..

  2. He can use both feet to score and above all he uses his brains for that.
Strong personality and at last someone who knows how to kick a penalty.
For his age he is very good.
I think he will probably have a great career.
    Well done Spurs.
Now we can say up with the Spurs.

  3. Best piece of news I have heard for a very long time.
This kid is the dogs bo–ocks!
Saw quite a bit of this kid at the under 17 world cup (if he is really under 17?) and he is truly amazing.
Amazing talent and the physique and physicality to go with it. I believe that this kid is almost a guaranteed star unlike so many, due to his physical and attitude development already. Maybe wrong to say but he looks good enough for 1st class/team football already. How we got him for such a low price is amazing (although one never knows what add ons could go to Sienna depending on appearances and sell on’s etc.)
If we can get a 60,000 seater stadium sorted out and with this kid and others Spurs can be right up there with the best clubs in the world.
