We’ll discuss the final line up for the Hearts game tomorrow, but news from the club website states that youth will be given its chance as several fringe players are included in the squad. For many Spurs fans, the most exciting name on the list is that of Harry Kane.

After making headway with Leyton Orient last season, Kane really impressed in a pre-season with Spurs that included a hat trick against a strong Birmingham City side.

Elsewhere, Andros Townsend comes into the reckoning and manager Harry Redknapp has also brought Tom Carroll into the squad.

It’s a great opportunity for them,” said Redknapp. “It will be a great experience for them to play in a European game at White Hart Lane and it will give me the chance to have a look at them up against good opposition.”

Team news will come nearer to kick off but a lot of Spurs fans will be hoping that Harry Kane gets his chance on the pitch tomorrow night.

  1. I would like to have a proper look at the fella. If you cannot play him when you are 5-0 up, when can you play him? Have Defoe on standby to continue his own “re-sharpening”…

  2. soulamayne couilabily and cabellos cannot be registered so are unavailable. good chance for us to see Kane and assess his ability in a competitive outing. we should also play Livermore,Townsend, and any others we’re looking to sell on such as Gio,Bentley,Bassong, wilson, jenas, think couple of these may be injured tho COYS
