Aaron Lennon was clearly struggling after taking a blow to the calf late on in our win over Blackburn and the winger is thought to be a serious doubt for tonight’s match.

If Aaron does make it, it seems logical that Harry should name an unchanged side but if the winger is ruled out, who will step in?

Scott Parker is also an injury doubt which arguably makes Jake Livermore the next in line. Recently, Sandro has been moved to the right wing but surely the Brazilian will keep his place in the centre after his true man of the match display on Sunday?

This is how we think Spurs will start but what’s your opinion?

  1. Friedel; Walker, Gallas, Kaboul, Rose; Lennon, Sandro, Modric, Bale; Vaart; Adebayor.

I remain unconvinced about Sandro’s abilities, but he was superb against the lackluster Blackburn Rovers and probably deserves to start tonight, regardless of whether or not Scotty is available.
Also, if Lennon isn’t fit, I’d rather we give Gio or Rose a start out on the wing, and use Adam Smith as a fullback.

    • He was superb in the Champions League ans superb last season, how van you possibly not see what a excellent player he is. At the moment he should be picked above Parker.

  2. I think if Lennon is out, Gio should be given the chance out wide. Can’t remember the last time he was even given the chance to show what he can do in the league for a full game.
Please no CM filling in on the wing, surely we have learned that lesson.
Sandro all day long regardless of Parker’s fitness, he deserves a run in the team.

    • I tend to agree about Gio. If nothing else, we’ll probably try and sell him this summer so might as well advertise him now.
No one wants to buy someone who’s sat on the bench for the past year.

    • Totally disagree, he should not be allowed anywhere near the team, far to lazy, don’t you remember the Europa League when he lost the ball he either sat on the floor or just stood there, not giving a toss. He doesn’t deserve special treatment, you want to play you put the work in on the training ground and work your socks off when you do play.

  3. I Know this is just Bolton, but you never know. They are fighting for their lives at the moment. We should be too eh? But it reminds me very much of a desperation game here for them, they will be battling. So although I don’t see us losing, any slip, ANY slip will completely ruin our chances of 3rd or 4th. Looking over my shoulder here at Chelsea now. If Arsenal win this weekend its not over yet, they still have to travel to WBA which might not be a walk in the park. If they draw there, we should pounce. With our luck, they will win both games 3-0.

  4. I love it how nearly every week you put Livermore at eight midfield when the reality is he has never played there and never will! School boy dreaming..
