The name of Tom Ince is featuring regularly in the transfer rumour columns and while it’s looking increasingly unlikely that the winger will be in the Premiership with Blackpool next season, the Seasiders’ dip in form could see one of the big clubs come in during January’s transfer window.
The 20 year old can play out wide on the left or as a left sided attacking midfielder and his scoring record in the Championship is undoubtedly impressive. Ince has ten goals in seventeen games this season and has found the net four times in his last five matches.
Ince has also become an England Under 21 regular and it does seem likely that he will soon make a return to the Premiership where he began his career with Liverpool. Spurs are heavily linked and as an understudy to Gareth Bale, maybe this won’t be the worst rumour we’ll see over the next few weeks.
Well Bale may need replacing at th end of the season. Why not get in an understudy now
Does he play on the left or the right. We have Andros Townshend acting understudy to Bale, but he seems an exciting prospect. He is also in keeping with AVB and Levy’s policy of blooding youth. If he is a left-sider then we should go for Wilfried Zaha who plays on the right to act understudy to Lennon
Unfortunately I think Zaha is out of our range already.
Haven’t seen this Ince-guy. But I believe in our scouts. They have brought loads off quality to SPURS over the years.
We really need 2 more wingers to complement our squad.
A striker wouldn’t be too bad either.
But lets get realistic. Before we get the new stadium and the new UEFA financial-fair-play-rule is in place. We will be selling our biggest players and have to settle for talents or bargains like VdV. (I miss him)
