While Tottenham have everything to play for on Sunday, at the other end of the table it’s all over for QPR but it’s been a positive few months at Loftus Road for our left sided player Andros Townsend. Andros made a clear impression during his time in West London and if he feels that he has proved himself in the Premiership, the 21 year old is unlikely to want another season on the fringes of the Spurs squad.

It’s already being reported that the player is looking for talks to resolve his future but with Gareth Bale switching to a central position for the final third of this campaign, does that leave a permanent vacancy for Townsend on the left?

Meanwhile, the projected weekly wage for Gareth Bale just keeps on climbing. Two weeks ago it was claimed that the Welshman was set to earn £130,000 every seven days in a new Spurs deal but that figure has jumped to £170,000 according to today’s reports.

At the very least, Andros Townsend has probably proved that he can play a part as a regular impact substitute next season but should AVB be looking to accommodate both him and Bale in his starting XIs?
