Christian Eriksen saves the day for Spurs again. The Danish midfielder is making a habit of scoring late winners, and it’s a habit all Spurs fans will be absolutely delighted with.
Jan Vertonghen had given Tottenham an early lead before a magnificent equaliser by Sunderland’s Sebastian Larsson. Spurs went on to dominate the game, but it took until the 88th minute for Eriksen to curl in from distance after a second half that lacked any kind of clinical final product.
