The headline above is becoming a bit of a mainstay. Christian Eriksen booked Spurs’ place in the League Cup final with yet another 88th minute winner.
Sheffield United were utterly abject until two quick goals put them back in the tie. As the game looked set for extra time, Harry Kane’s inch-perfect pass found its way into the path of Eriksen. The Dane made no mistake with a calm first time finish to take Tottenham to Wembley.
