Nacer Chadli gave Spurs a 1-0 lead against Swansea in the 7th minute with a brilliantly guided right foot finish.
Danny Rose’s pinpoint cross was beautifully volleyed home by Chadli. It was the Belgian’s eighth league goal of the season.
Before Swansea could kick off, striker Bafetimbi Gomis collapsed on the pitch. The Swansea player was given oxygen and stretchered off. Hopefully he will be fine, but it was a sickening moment given what had happened to Fabrice Muamba previously at White Hart Lane.
