Tottenham took the lead in Monaco through the man in form, Erik Lamela.
The Argentine started the move with some nifty footwork in his own half. Nacer Chadli did well to find Dele Alli, who’s shot fell into the path of Lamela for a tap in.
The goal came after a rather boring opening half hour, so it was good to see the visitors get the first goal and bring the game to life.
