After good start, Spurs went on to squander an early lead at the Hawthorns in a 1-1 draw.
Dele Alli had put the visitors ahead after 15 minutes, latching on to a superb Toby Alderweireld pass to volley home from close range.
West Brom soon equalised through a well worked goal from winger James McClean.
The second half was very much low on quality, and the hosts probably had the better of the chances in the end. Hugo Lloris made a sublime stop to keep things level late on.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the result.
Now 14 without defeat. Not a pretty sight, but let's take the vicious wind into account. Alli's beautifully taken goal the highspot #WBATOT

Toby Alderweireld is the best ball-playing CB in the League. #THFC

Should be winning these games. Unbeaten run a consolation, shows that business does need to be done in January. WBA very physical.

So 14 (FOURTEEN) Premier League games unbeaten. You'll say, "we should be wining there". Arsenal said that 2 weeks ago….

Really could've took advantage of City & United dropping points today, it's these points that we regret dropping in May. Awful performance.

Not Kane's best performance. Walker MOTM for me. West Brom very lucky to have 11 on the pitch. Still the unbeaten run goes on #COYS

Christian Eriksen went missing today. Really could have done with his creativity in the final third! #COYS

14 – Tottenham Hotspur are unbeaten in 14 league games (W6 D8) – their best run in the top-flight since March 1985. Imperious.

Arsenal got turned over here, I guess. Bit toothless & looked ruffled all day, but I've seen us lose these grim games millions of times.

Full credit #WBA made that 2nd half very hard to break them down, no shame in draw a very tough place to go, now 14 PL games unbeaten. #THFC

Taking the referee/weather in to account, a point isn't terrible, but the performance was highly questionable. Spurs of old would've lost.
— Raj Bains (@BainsXIII) December 5, 2015
Doom and gloom. Apparently being unbeaten for so long doesn't matter if you draw a few. Fucking daft expecting a win every week. Bye.

Happy with a draw at a very hard place to go & get a result as the scum found out but we need to change these draws into wins & quick #COYS
— Alex Lally (@doolally316) December 5, 2015
Poor performance. Pretty sure we'd have lost that a few years ago though.
— The Fighting Cock (@LoveTheShirt) December 5, 2015
…to WBA, they were very disciplined. That said, the long ball to Rondon caused a stupid amount of problems & it really needn't have done.
— Chris Miller (@WindyCOYS) December 5, 2015
We are 5th in the league. We haven't lost in 14 games. We have only 4 points less than Arsenal and 3 less than Man City and United. Awful.
